Kitchell broke ground on the green expansion at Orangewood School in Phoenix on Monday.
Kitchell is serving as the general contractor on this 6,000-square-foot project marks the second in a series of green schoolhouses to be built across the country on Tile 1, low-income, public school campuses.

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) has announced the recipients of its annual Economic Development Distinguished by Excellence (EDDE) Awards. Kitchell’s Kari McCormick was recognized as Economic Developer of the Year- Tribal Communities. The prestigious EDDE Awards honor individuals and companies who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the organization and also to the economic growth within the state of Arizona.
