Berkeley North Branch Library achieves recognition from AIA San Francisco

The Berkeley North Branch Library project, for which Kitchell served as project manager, was recently recognized by the American Institute of Architects – San Francisco chapter with a Merit Award for Historic Preservation. The publicly funded project preserved, expanded, and updated the City of Berkeley’s beloved 1936 North Branch Library on The Alameda. Vacaville facility showcases California’s progress

Kitchell was program manager for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s (CDCR) California Medical Facility’s (CMF) new outpatient treatment center in Vacaville, which achieved LEED Silver accreditation.
