As seen in the September 2003 issue of HEALTHCARE DESIGN, Phoenix Children’s Hospital was remodeled and renovated in 2002. Featuring a design from Karlsberger Companies, the hospital was built upon the framework of a former adult general hospital campus, and successfully so—HEALTHCARE DESIGN even awarded the project a Citation of Merit in the 2003 Architectural Showcase.

Wraps come off Marian’s new building

Like a four-story gift package, the wrapping is coming off the new Marian Medical Center.

The “shrink-wrap” that has surrounded the 95-foot high, 216,000-square-foot facility since last spring is slowly being peeled away. The north and most of the south sides already have been removed. The east and west sides will follow soon.
