Kitchell Contractors has begun construction on the $95-million, 135,000-square-foot St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. The four-story hospital is an extension of an existing medical campus providing a variety of outpatient services.

Designed by HKS, Inc., the state-of-the-art facility will serve the community’s growing demand for orthopedic services and will be a regional destination for individuals seeking bone and joint care. St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital serves as a physical representation of the unique partnership between one of the tri-state’s most distinguished hospitals and the region’s largest orthopedic practice, Tri-State Orthopaedics.

St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital, scheduled to open in 2019, will include space for 48 inpatient rooms, 10 operating suites (with room for expansion) and two procedure rooms.
