Congratulations to four of our valued leaders on their recent promotions, reflecting our geographic and services expansion. Bryan Bernardo, Russ Korcuska, David Burton and Michael Wolfe have all been named vice presidents overseeing various areas of Kitchell’s contracting business.

Vice President of Operations Bryan Bernardo oversees the management of Kitchell’s project cost systems, processes, risk, safety, warranty, equipment, fleet services and Quality Assurance to ensure overall consistency and efficiency throughout all regional and national operations.

Vice President of National Projects Russ Korcuska is focused on creating more opportunities for our growth on a national level, specifically in healthcare, Native American and education markets.

Vice President of Arizona Region David Burton is responsible for all aspects of Kitchell Contractors’ Arizona business. He has been integrally involved in maintaining our Arizona footprint and building our backlog of business since the economic recession.

Vice President Michael Wolfe is leading Kitchell’s completion of the UC San Diego Jacobs Medical Center project and our Healthcare Center of Excellence in the Los Angeles County region, growing our healthcare practice from San Diego to Los Angeles counties.

These individuals continue to impress, creating value for a company that has grown and prospered because of the legacy created before them. I’m proud to have them as part of our leadership team and excited about the future of Kitchell under their watch.

Russ Korcuska returns to Kitchell as Director of Market Development

Korcuska

Kitchell recently welcomed Russ Korcuska back, in the position of Director of Market Development. Russ brings 20-plus years of experience managing commercial construction projects ranging in size from $5,000 to $558 million.

“Russ’ depth of experience within the A/E/C community, combined with his drive to deliver exceptional customer service and passion for quality excellence, will be a tremendous asset to the company and to our clients, current and future,” said Kitchell President Dan Pierce. Korcuska’s focus is on expanding Kitchell’s footprint throughout Texas and helping bolster its presence in multiple markets in Arizona.

During Russ’ earlier 18-year tenure at Kitchell, in which he excelled as a project director and project manager, he managed the company’s healthcare division and worked on such signature projects as Phoenix Children’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Barrow Neurological Institute tower, and Scott and White Healthcare – College Station campus.

Russ is a member of the Board of Directors for the Arizona Builders Alliance, the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce – Healthcare and Bio-Science Committee, and a Certified Professional Constructor. He graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in construction.
