Sprouts’ new Prescott Valley store draws crowds

One of Arizona’s fastest-growing grocers is expanding its affordable natural and organic food offerings across the country. Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. opened two stores Wednesday, one in Prescott Valley and one in San Ramon, Calif.  By noon, aisles were still filled with customers at the 27,000-square-foot store in the Prescott Valley Crossroads big-box shopping center built by Kitchell.

Sprouts to open at Prescott Valley Crossroads

Sprouts Farmers Market is scheduled to open at the Prescott Valley Crossroads power center on June 4. The 27,994 SF Phoenix-based specialty follows the October 2013 opening of Dick’s Sporting Goods’ 35KSF store. Located 80 miles north of the Phoenix metropolitan area, the center sits on a premium location in Prescott Valley, along Highway 69.  Kitchell developed both the north and the south sides of the highway.
